A written statement was made after the Economy Coordination Board (EKK) meeting. In the statement, it was stated that the 6th meeting of this year was held and the following was said:

"The global economy is going through a comprehensive change process with the impact of geopolitical situations, green and digital transformation, and the restructuring of trade and supply chains. This process brings with it new risks as well as important opportunities for countries while shaping production, investment, trade and labor policies. Our macroeconomic foundations, strengthened thanks to the policies we implement with determination, increase the resilience of our economy to shocks and its capacity to adapt to changing global conditions. While our country has maintained its uninterrupted growth for 23 quarters, the unemployment rate has maintained its single-digit levels. Geopolitics in our region "Although the current account deficit has increased slightly due to tensions, we expect it to remain at sustainable levels thanks to our gains. We expect the disinflation process to continue for the rest of the year with the contribution of supportive conditions."

'WE ARE IMPLEMENTING A NEW CREDIT PACKAGE'

Emphasizing that export-oriented growth and the competitiveness of the real sector are supported with policies based on structural transformation, he said, "In this context, we are expanding the scope of the Investment Committed Advance Loan program and increasing its budget to 750 billion TL; we are implementing a new loan package of 250 billion TL with favorable conditions that will strengthen the working capital of our industrialists operating in the manufacturing sector. We are implementing policies that will increase the quality of human capital and develop the skills and competencies needed by the labor market. The statement included the following statements regarding the issues discussed at the EKK meeting:

"The recent situations in the labor market have been evaluated, and the policies planned to be implemented for the needs of the labor market have been consulted with the Board members. The regulations that have an impact on the economy and the investment environment within the scope of the 12th Judicial Package have been evaluated, and the additional steps that need to be taken to strengthen the business and investment environment have been discussed. Our country offers important opportunities for investors thanks to its geostrategic location, large domestic and regional market, strong production and logistics infrastructure, young and qualified workforce. It supports high value-added investments and increases the quality of human capital. "We aim to make our country a strong investment, production and trade center on a global scale with our structural reforms that accelerate the twin transformation."
