Within the scope of the process for redetermining the minimum wage in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission convened for the third time. The decision taken after the meeting, held with an interim increase on its agenda, was announced to the public.

With the statement made by Minister of Labor and Social Security Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, the new minimum wage figures to be applied in the TRNC have been finalized. Thus, hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly wage calculations have also been updated.

Following the interim increase decision in the TRNC, the new minimum wage amounts have been clarified. According to the new regulation announced by Minister of Labor and Social Security Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, the monthly gross minimum wage was announced as 70,893 TL, and the monthly net minimum wage as 61,677 TL.
