Suspects who sold fake gold to a jeweler in Küçükçekmece on different dates were caught. During searches made on people's vehicles and residence addresses; 30 pieces of 1 gram fake gold, 1 unlicensed gun and 1 gram of drugs were seized.
The incident took place on July 15, 2026, in a jeweler in Küçükçekmece İstasyon District. People who came to the jeweler gave fake gold. The jeweler noticed the situation and reported it to the police. The teams took action upon notice, A.A. (30) and K.A. Individuals named (18) were caught red-handed with 8 grams of fake gold on them. In the investigations, it was determined that the same people sold 3 pieces of 1 gram fake gold to the same jeweler on July 10, 2026. During searches of vehicles and residential addresses of suspicious persons; 30 pieces of 1 gram fake gold, 1 unlicensed gun, 1 magazine attached to the gun, 25 cartridges and 1 gram of narcotic substance were seized. The suspects, whose procedures were completed at the police station, were referred to the courthouse on charges of qualified fraud (fake gold) and drug possession. - ISTANBUL
