The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost 0.32 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 14,047.06 points.
BIST 100 index, which closed at 14,092.02 points yesterday, started the day at 13,988.40 points, with a decrease of 103.61 points and 0.74 percent. As of 13:00, the index fell to 14,047.06 points, with a decrease of 44.96 points and 0.32 percent compared to the previous closing.
The index saw the lowest point of 13,941.98 and the highest point of 14,097.33 in the first half of the day.
In the first half of the day, the industrial index and services index gained 0.97 percent and 0.59 percent, while the financial index and technology index lost 0.80 percent and 0.68 percent, respectively.
Compared to the previous closing, in the first half of the day, 67 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, 30 fell, and 3 remained flat. The most traded stocks were Turkish Airlines, ASELSAN, Astor Enerji, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası and Sasa Polyester.
As of 13:00 today, the simple return of the benchmark paper, the bond with maturity date of March 15, 2028, traded in the Borsa Istanbul Bonds and Bills Market Outright Purchase and Sale Market, was 37.90 percent and the compound return was 41.49 percent.
In international markets, as of 13:00, the euro/dollar parity is at 1.1400, the sterling/dollar parity is at 1.3380 and the dollar/yen parity is at 162.2.
In the Istanbul free market, the dollar is sold for 47.0400 liras and the euro is sold for 53.6320 liras.
In international markets, an ounce of gold is traded at $4,020 with an increase of 0.5 percent, and a barrel of London Brent crude oil is traded at $85.7 with an increase of 3.4 percent.
