The 27th Göllüalan Festival was held under fog and rain in Sinlice Village of Trabzon's Şalpazarı district.
While thousands of people attended the festival in Göllüalan Recreation Area, the participants gathered in the festival area with the herbalist march. Local people gathered in the area and had fun playing horon for hours, accompanied by melodies performed by local artists.
Speaking at the festival, Sinlice Village Social Assistance and Solidarity Association President Bahri Erata said, "As an association, we carried out some activities here in order to transfer the Sinlice Village Göllüalan Festival, which we organized for the 27th time this year, to future generations. Our only effort is to continue this festival for years."
Şalpazarı District Deputy District Governor İhsan Mert Mutlu said in his speech, "This is the first cultural festival I have seen, but I observed that there was a large participation. Now it is time to have fun, I wish the participants a good time."
While local dishes were served to the guests attending the festival, the festival ended in the evening. - TRABZON
