Caner Mengütaş (45), who entered the Zamantı River in Tomarza district of KAYSERİ, lost his life.
Caner Mengütaş, who had a picnic with his friends in Melikören District of Tomarza district, entered the Zamantı River to cool off. After a while, Mengütaş's friends saw him motionless on the water and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notice, gendarmerie, fire brigade and medical teams were dispatched to the region. It was determined that Mengütaş, who was taken out of the water by the teams, died. Mengütaş's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy.
