Super League giant Beşiktaş faced Spartak Trnava in the last friendly match of the pre-season camp in Slovakia. Spartak Trnava won the match played at City Arena Trnava with a score of 3-2.
Beşiktaş took the lead with İlhan Fakılı's goal in the 13th minute. Trnava increased its pressure in the last moments of the first half, with Phlip Azango in the 37th minute, Lorent Mehmeti in the 45th minute and 45+2. They dominated the halftime by bringing the score to 3-1 with goals from Filip Trello in the minute. Although the black-whites reduced the difference to one with Tiago Djalo in the 78th minute, this goal was not enough.
Beşiktaş beat Gyirmot FC 2-1 in the first match of the preparation camp, and drew 0-0 with Mosonmagyarovari and 1-1 with Malzenice in the following matches. The black-whites also lost 2-1 to Widzew Lodz.
In its next match, Beşiktaş will host Midtjylland in the first match of the UEFA Europa League 2nd Preliminary Qualifier on July 23.
