Acun Ilıcalı, the owner of Hull City, which was promoted to the Premier League, made important statements about transfer activities, club investments and future plans in his interview with BBC Radio Humberside.

Speaking about the club's use of a loan of 55 million pounds, Ilıcalı reminded that Premier League revenues come in installments and said, "The money comes over a long period of time. We need money now to make good transfers. We will meet with important players and we will have to spend big money in a short time. Referring to his expenses for Hull City, Ilıcalı said, "I spent 120 million pounds for the club in approximately 5 years. "For me, money is a tool used to achieve success," he said.

Speaking about the departure of sports director Jared Dublin, Ilıcalı said, "He had an important share in the success of the club. I thank him. But football is a professional business. We couldn't agree on next season. "I respect his wishes, but my priority is always the interests of Hull City," he said.

Stating that they can add 12-13 players to the squad during the summer transfer period, Ilıcalı said, "We will transfer players worth 10, 15, maybe 20 million pounds. We have no chance of recruiting the wrong player. That's why we rush, but we don't rush so much that we make mistakes. Two or three players can arrive at very short notice. "We can make up to 12-13 transfers in total," he said. Announcing the good news that Oscar Zambrano will return to the team, Ilıcalı said, "Zambrano is a special player.
