Martyrs' graves were visited in Diyarbakır, Mardin, Elazığ, Batman, Şırnak, Bingöl and Siirt on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

In the program held at the Air Martyrs' Cemetery in the central Yenişehir district of Diyarbakır, the National Anthem and the Holy Quran were read and prayers were made for the martyrs.

Governor Murat Zorluoğlu left carnations on the graves of the protocol members and martyrs.

AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Mehmet Galip Ensarioğlu, Diyarbakır 8th Main Jet Base Commander Brigadier General Burak Özan, Provincial Police Chief Nurettin Gökduman, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Major General Tarık Hekimoğlu, Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor Erdal Kuruçay, Dicle University Rector Prof. Dr. Kamuran Eronat, AK Party Provincial Chairman Hamit Sümer, MHP Provincial Chairman Miktat Arslan, DSP Provincial Chairman Ali Artun, institution representatives and guests attended.

In the program held at Mardin Garrison Martyrdom, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made for the martyrs.

Governor Tuncay Akkoyun, Artuklu District Governor Muhammet Öztabak, 70th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Ahmet Yaşar Dener, Provincial Police Chief Recep Tecimer, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Tahsin Saruhan, Mardin Artuklu University Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özcoşar, Provincial Mufti Enver Türkmen, AK Party Provincial Chairman Mehmet Uncu, MHP Provincial Chairman Ferhan Bozkuş, representatives of political parties, public institutions and organizations and non-governmental organizations, relatives of martyrs, veterans and their families attended.

Governor Akkoyun and his entourage left carnations on the graves of the martyrs. During his visit to the grave of martyr police officer Vedat Kaya, Akkoyun met with the martyr's father Şeyhmus and his mother Emine Kaya.

Governor Akkoyun then visited the families of martyrs and veterans in the city.

In the programs held at Harput Martyrdom, Garrison Martyrdom and Icadiye Martyrdom in Elazığ, the Holy Quran was read, prayers were made and carnations were left on the graves of the martyrs.

After the visits, Governor Numan Hatipoğlu stated to the journalists that they visited the martyrs' cemeteries and prayed for the souls of the heroic martyrs.

Wishing God's mercy to the martyrs, Hatipoğlu stated that they bowed with respect in the presence of the veterans.

Explaining that on July 15, the entire nation united around President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and showed that his will would not be subjected to another yoke, Hatipoğlu said:

"On the other hand, the mankurts and jokers who stole the uniforms and weapons of our heroic armed forces have caused irreparable pain to our country, but issues such as opening fire on civilians or innocents, which has never happened in the 2,200-year history of our heroic army, cannot tarnish us, our beloved nation and our heroic army. This group of heedless people has certainly received the punishment it deserves, and will continue to receive it, but the most important slap in the chest of our nation."

Relatives of martyrs and citizens attended the programs.

In the ceremony held at Karşıyaka Cemetery in Batman, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made by Provincial Mufti Ahmet Durmuş.

Governor Ekrem Canalp chatted for a while with the families of the martyrs who participated in the program.

The ceremony was attended by Batman University Rector Prof. Dr. İdris Demir, Provincial Police Chief İbrahim Kaba, deputy governors, heads of institutions, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations attended.

In the program in Şırnak, the Martyrs' Memorial at the 23rd Infantry Division Command was visited, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung.

Provincial Mufti Arif Yeşiloğlu read the Quran and prayed here.

Later, Governor Birol Ekici and protocol members left carnations at the "Martyrdom Monument".

Mayor Mehmet Yarka, 23rd Infantry Division Commander Major General Rıfat Dönel, Chief Public Prosecutor Yusuf Canik, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Major General Zafer Tombul, Provincial Police Chief Volkan Sazak, families of the martyrs, representatives of non-governmental organizations and citizens attended the program.

In the program held at the Martyrs' Memorial in Bingöl, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made for the martyrs.

Governor Cahit Çelik, Mayor Erdal Arıkan and protocol members left carnations in the area where the names of the martyrs were written.

Governor Çelik and his entourage then visited the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Commemoration Tent, which was established next to Bingöl Municipality.

In the programs, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Sabri Küyük, Provincial Police Chief Beyti Kalaycı, Bingöl University Rector Prof. Erdal Çelik, deputy governors, institution managers, representatives of non-governmental organizations and citizens were present.

In the program held at the Garrison Command Martyrs' Cemetery in Siirt, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung.

After the recitation of the Holy Quran, prayers were made for the martyrs.

Governor Kemal Kızılkaya, who attended the program, signed the "Martyrdom Book".

In his speech here, Kızılkaya said that they have not forgotten July 15 and will not let them forget.

Stating that July 15 was the name of a glorious resurrection in which the treacherous coup attempt, which targeted the nation's will, independence and democracy, was eliminated by the nation's unshakable faith, courage and love of the homeland, Kızılkaya said:

"By sacrificing your lives without blinking an eye, you declared to the whole world the independence of this land, that our red flag will fly freely forever, that our calls to prayer will not be silent forever, and that this nation will never give up its independence. This beloved homeland, which you have entrusted, will survive forever with the unity and solidarity of our nation. The epic written on the night of July 15 has a unique place in our history as the strongest sign of national will, commitment to democracy and love of the country." took it."

Governor Kızılkaya and protocol members later laid roses on the graves in the martyrs' cemetery.
