15 July Digital Experience Center Opened in Konya - Last Minute

The July 15 Commemoration and Digital Experience Center opened in Konya allows its visitors to witness the coup attempt that night with digital technologies and provides citizens with emotional moments.

The center, which was prepared at Taş Bina Culture and Arts under the leadership of Konya Governorship and under the coordination of Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Presidency Directorate of Communications Konya Regional Directorate, welcomes its visitors within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events.

360-degree displays, digital projection applications, chronological memory area, martyrs' corridor and artificial intelligence-supported experience areas in the center allow visitors to relive the night of July 15 from different aspects.

Konya Governor İbrahim Akın also visited the center and inspected it. Akın visited the experience areas one by one, received information from the authorities about the activities carried out and experienced digital applications.

"They will have the opportunity to see the sacrifices of our martyrs and veterans here."

Following the visit, Akın told reporters that these events were organized simultaneously in 81 provinces under the coordination of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.

Pointing out that the citizens who come to visit can feel the spirit of July 15 closely, Akın said:

"Our citizens will have the opportunity to see the sacrifices of our martyrs and veterans that night and will renew their awareness of protecting our democracy here. I invite all our citizens to visit this exhibition and our digital experience center and remember those days again. This will contribute to transferring our culture of protecting our national unity and solidarity and democracy to future generations."

Hoping that the Turkish nation will never experience such a thing again, Akın said, "May our citizens always have the will to protect their democracy, their country, their flag, their homeland. Again, I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to the preparation of this exhibition and its digital center and the Presidency's Directorate of Communications." he said.
