On the 10th anniversary of the coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15, 2016, visits to the "Memory of July 15 Museum" and the "July 15 Martyrs' Authority" began.
Citizens from all age groups, from 7 to 70, started to come to the 15 July Martyrs' Authority and Memory 15 July Museum at the entrance of the 15 July Martyrs Bridge on the Anatolian Side, on the occasion of "15 July Democracy and National Unity Day", from the early hours of the morning.
Visitors who came to the area with Turkish flags in their hands prayed for the martyrs and also visited the museum where the belongings left by the citizens who fought to prevent the coup attempt were exhibited.
Citizens who witnessed those moments experienced emotional moments.

Merve Gülizar Tan, one of the visitors, said that she was in Ankara during the coup attempt, went to the squares with her family and saw how people were crushed by tanks.
Tan said, "We were one and together that day, 'We are the will, we are the nation.' we said. Our nation, which stood as one in the streets and squares against the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, showed the whole world and people that its will cannot be usurped. It is very meaningful to be here on the 10th anniversary of July 15." he said.
Naciye Sümeyye Ercan stated that she was a friend of Yasin Naci Ağaroğlu, who was martyred on July 15, and said, "The only reason I am sad today is that my friend, with whom we fought together in the same square, was martyred, but I was not able to attain martyrdom. Apart from that, we come here all dressed up. Today is our wedding day. Love for the country is from faith."
Explaining that he went to Palestine 4 times and once to Arakan, Ercan stated that he was in Ankara on July 15, that he wanted martyrdom very much but did not have the chance, and that he visits here every year.
