Bosphorus ship traffic was temporarily closed in both directions during the passage of the Bahamian-flagged giant ship, which has a total length of 325 meters and a width of 39 meters, in the north-south direction, which started at 05.40. There were no problems during the transition, which was carried out under intense security measures. The ship was accompanied by Coastal Police 5, Rescue 3, Rescue 7, Rescue 14, Rescue 6 ships, especially Nene Hatun.
It was learned that Castorone, who previously worked in Türkiye's natural gas fields in the Black Sea, will head towards the Greek port of Piraeus after passing through the Bosphorus.
