Following the Ordinary General Assembly recently held within the Turkish Federation of Drivers and Automobilists (TŞOF), another significant representative duty was undertaken on behalf of Afyonkarahisar's driver tradesmen. İbrahim Karataş, President of the Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Drivers and Automobilists, was elected to the Board of Directors of TŞOF Trafik AŞ.
Karataş, who is part of the management led by TŞOF President Mehmet Yiğiner – a leader who actively participates in legislative reforms conducted in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and spearheads crucial projects for the transportation sector, operating within the framework of the Turkish Federation of Drivers and Automobilists, which represents approximately one million registered driver tradesmen – will enhance the representative power of Afyonkarahisar's driver tradesmen in Ankara.
Afyonkarahisar will also be effectively represented in the federation's new-period activities, which have made significant contributions to the realization of investments in rest areas along the country's important transit routes and in tourism regions.
Following his election to the Board of Directors of TŞOF Trafik AŞ, İbrahim Karataş, President of the Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Drivers and Automobilists, made a statement, saying: “With the support and trust of our driver tradesmen, we will continue to be their strong voice in Ankara. We believe that we will make significant contributions to investments to be realized in many parts of our country, especially in our province, and to legal regulations concerning our sector. I extend my gratitude to all members of the board, especially our Federation President, Mr. Mehmet Yiğiner, for their efforts in deeming me worthy of this important position.”
Emphasizing that driver tradesmen act in unity and solidarity, Karataş stated, “We are a big family. We will continue our activities with the same determination to protect the rights of our tradesmen, find solutions to their problems, and advance our sector.”
