As the temperature reached 37.1 degrees in Akçakoca district of Düzce, which is located on the Black Sea coast, there was a rush on the beaches. Citizens, overwhelmed by the scorching heat, enjoy the summer by swimming in the sea and sunbathing on the beach.
Those who took advantage of the heat in Düzce went to the beaches of Akçakoca. While the district's beaches were crowded from the early hours of the morning, citizens who wanted to take advantage of the hot weather preferred to swim in the sea and sunbathe. Along with the activity on the beaches, density was also observed on the coastline. Due to the hot weather in the city, where thermometers showed 37.1 degrees, the density of people was generally seen on the beaches.
Kerim Poyraz, who sells ice cream in the city, said, "I am an ice cream seller on the Akçakoca beach. There is activity this week. It is more crowded on weekends. This week is better. Most of the guests come from Ankara. In my opinion, most of the visitors are from Ankara."
Sezai Yılgın, who was walking on the beaches of Akçakoca, said, "This temperature is normal for us. Thank God. We call it cold when it is cold, and hot when it is hot. The beaches are full because of the temperature. Akçakoca is a beautiful district, everything is perfect."
