The accident occurred at 04.20 in the Karamağara location on the D100 Highway, Gümüşhacıköy-Merzifon direction. According to the information obtained, the double-decker bus belonging to Metro Turizm, with license plate 34 DT 5602, used by Enver Büyükkol, who went from Tekirdağ to Ordu, with 75 passengers and 5 crew members, went out of control and overturned into the ditch for an unknown reason. After the accident, health, AFAD, fire brigade and security teams were dispatched to the scene. 46 people were injured in the accident, 2 of them seriously. The injured were taken to surrounding hospitals after first aid.

After the accident, health, security, AFAD and fire departments were immediately dispatched to the scene, and a total of 2 of them were serious in the accident.
