The accident took place on Kishinev Street in Çankaya district. Allegedly, the driver, who lost control of his vehicle for a moment while stopped at traffic lights, panicked and crashed into the car behind him. After the accident, the driver completely lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into 6 more vehicles parked along the street. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. While there was no loss of life or injury in the accident, it was stated that the female driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. A total of 8 vehicles involved in the accident were damaged.

Speaking about the incident, Mehmet Ümit, one of the surrounding tradesmen, said: "We heard the sounds and went out. A driver was trying to move back and forth with his vehicle. At that time, he crashed into other parked cars. He completely lost control. He was probably in shock and panicked. He damaged 8 cars, including his own. He was in a state of panic. We told him to stay calm. Thank God, no one was hurt. At least, we were consoled. The driver was very scared. Then the police and medical teams came. There was no loss of life or injury. "It was an accident with material damage," he said.
