On the night of July 15, 2016, the treacherous coup attempt targeting the national will and democracy of the Republic of Turkey was repelled by the epic resistance of millions who filled the streets and squares.

On the 10th anniversary of the national resistance, Türkiye commemorates its martyrs and defends its will with more than 100 comprehensive events organized under the coordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In addition to hatim programs, photography exhibitions, cortege marches, eye-catching "mapping" and drone shows held in all 81 provinces, visits to martyrs' cemeteries are carried out. The summit of the commemoration programs is crowned with a special ceremony held in the Capital National Garden in Ankara with the participation of President Erdoğan.
