Hazne Öztürkmen (66), who was stuck between the wall gap when the elevator she was in in GAZİANTEP suddenly moved, lost her life.
The incident took place in the 11-storey apartment building located on Şehit Bünyamin Dinç Street in Akkent District. Hazne Öztürkmen, who lives in the building, got into the elevator on the 7th floor. Allegedly, as soon as he took a step, the elevator moved and Öztürkmen got stuck between the wall and the elevator. Upon the notice of the residents of the building who heard Öztürkmen's calls for help, police, fire brigade and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Upon check-up by medical teams, it was determined that Öztürkmen had died.
The body of the woman, who was removed by the fire brigade, was sent to Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Morgue. Police teams launched an investigation into the incident.
