Atatürk University, which ranks first in Türkiye among the 10% of the most cited international publications, has once again confirmed its research quality.

According to the data received from the Clarivate InCites platform on July 13, 2026, Atatürk University ranked first in Türkiye with 231 scientific publications published in 2025, which were among the 10% of the most cited publications worldwide.

The measure of scientific success is no longer the number of publications, but the impact power of the publication.

In international academic evaluation systems, the success of universities is not only determined by the number of publications produced; It is measured by the impact of publications in the scientific world. "Top 10% Publications" indicator used by Clarivate InCites; It refers to the publications that are in the 10% success bracket with the most citations, as a result of comparing the scientific activities within the scope of Web of Science with world publications in the same field, in the same year and in the same publication type.

This indicator; It is among the most important performance criteria that reveal the quality level of scientific publications, their international visibility, the impact of research in the scientific world, and the research excellence of universities. Therefore, Atatürk University's placement at the top of Türkiye in this field means not only that more publications are produced; It shows that research that finds more response in the world science literature, is more referenced and has a higher impact is produced.
