Flames broke out in the agricultural land in the rural Malgaçemir District around 13:00. Following the notice, Muğla Regional Directorate of Forestry teams were dispatched to the region. While we started to intervene in the flames from the air, ground elements also joined the extinguishing activities immediately afterwards. The teams are continuing to intervene in the fire.
A fire broke out in agricultural land in Aydın's Sultanhisar district; 5 helicopters and 4 planes intervened from the air and 6 watercraft from the land. The flames were brought under control at 15.30 after 3 hours of effort. According to initial findings, it was reported that a 10-decare area covered with chestnut trees was damaged in the fire. It was stated that the cause of the fire was being investigated.
