In Samsun's Bafra district, a visit to the martyrs' cemetery was made on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, and a Mawlid was read.
July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events started with a visit to Bafra Martyrs' Cemetery in Asri Cemetery.
In the program, the Holy Quran was read for the martyrs, and prayers were made by District Mufti İbrahim Memiş and religious officials.
Participants left carnations on the graves of martyrs.
Then, before the noon prayer, the Mevlid-i Şerif program was held at the Çarşı Mosque.
Bafra District Governor Mustafa Altınpınar, Mayor Hamit Kılıç, District Police Chief Murat Öner, District Gendarmerie Commander First Lieutenant Benal Kurt, AK Party District Chairman İbrahim Semiz, MHP District Chairman Kemal Şahin, department heads, institution directors, representatives of non-governmental organizations, veterans, relatives of martyrs and citizens attended the programs.
