Malatya Commodity Exchange (MTB) President Ramazan Özcan, in his message published on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, stated that on the night of July 15, 2016, the nation wrote a historical epic by protecting democracy, national will and homeland.
In his message, President Özcan stated that July 15 was an important turning point in which the Turkish nation showed its spirit of unity and solidarity to the whole world, and said, "Our beloved nation protected its country, flag and democracy at the expense of its life on that dark night, and eliminated the treacherous coup attempt with great determination. This stance is the clearest indication that no power can direct the will of our nation."
Pointing out that protecting democracy, national will and independence is everyone's common responsibility, Özcan emphasized that the spirit of unity and solidarity should always be kept alive.
At the end of his message, President Özcan commemorated the martyrs of July 15 with mercy and gratitude, wished the veterans a healthy and peaceful life, and said, "May God not let our nation experience such pain again. On the anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, I commemorate all our martyrs with mercy and our veterans with gratitude." - MALATYA
