Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO) President Uğur Erdoğan continued his visits to members, following up with businesses operating in the locomotive sectors of the city's economy after meeting with tradesmen.
President Erdoğan, who visited Doğrar Metal, one of the important representatives of the iron and steel industry, also met with DTO members operating in various sectors, primarily textiles, on the same day, to discuss production processes, investments, and export activities. President Erdoğan stated, "We will continue to stand by all our members who produce, invest, provide employment, and add value to our country through their exports."
Uğur Erdoğan, Chairman of the DTO Board of Directors, stated that Denizli is one of Turkey's most important production and export centers, adding that the city's success is driven by entrepreneurs who continuously invest, create employment, and compete in global markets.

Meeting with company executives at Doğrar Metal, the first stop of his visits, President Erdoğan stated that the iron and steel sector has achieved a remarkable rise in Denizli's exports in recent years. Erdoğan said, "When Denizli is mentioned, textiles usually come to mind first. However, today our province has also become an important production and export center in the cable, machinery, natural stone, and iron and steel sectors. Especially the iron and non-ferrous metals sector has continuously increased its exports in recent years, making a significant contribution to the growth of Denizli's economy. Our companies, which invest in production, technology, and quality, have made great efforts in this success. We congratulate all of them and thank everyone from employers to employees."
Erdoğan stated that Doğrar Metal also adds value to the sector with its modern production approach, technological infrastructure, and export vision, and congratulated the company management for their investments.
During the visit, company officials, including the owners of Doğrar Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, Abdullah Doğrar, Ayşen Doğrar Kasapoğlu, and Ali Kasapoğlu, provided information to President Erdoğan and the accompanying DTO delegation about production processes, new investments, capacity-increasing activities, and export operations. Erdoğan toured the production areas, examined the ongoing activities on-site, and wished the employees well.
Members in the textile sector were also visited.
As part of his program on the same day, President Erdoğan also visited member companies of the Denizli Chamber of Commerce operating in the textile sector. Erdoğan stated that the textile sector, which is the cornerstone of Denizli's exports, maintains its strategic importance in terms of production, employment, and exports despite changing global conditions. He exchanged views with sector representatives on costs, export markets, the European Union Green Deal, digital transformation, and competitive conditions.
Erdoğan also toured the production areas of the companies he visited, chatting with employees and wishing them well. During President Erdoğan's visits, he was welcomed and hosted by Harun Uşak and Yeliz Uşak, owners of Kral Efes Uniform Havlu and ITS Tekstil; Selami Koca and Osman Koca, owners of HAVİN Tekstil İnşaat Taahhüt ve Malzemeleri İthalat- İhracat Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi; Salih Özkaya, one of the business owners at SE.FA.AY Tekstil; Kadir Koyuncuoğlu and his son Mehmet Koyuncuoğlu, owners of Sümer Süt Ürünleri Gıda Mamulleri Yemek ve Tekstil Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi; businessman Faik Pişkin at The Emporia Hotel; Hüseyin Özkan, owner of Arkeja Turizm Ticaret A.Ş., which has branches in Aydın as well as Denizli; young entrepreneurs Muhammed Bekir Ege, his elder brother Sami Ege, and his younger brother İslam Ege, who are Committee Members at the Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO) at Başağa Çiftliği; and young female entrepreneur İmren Çıralı Soylu.
