Following the appointment of Bayburt Garrison Commander Artillery Colonel Erdem Yeni to the Chief of Staff position at the Elazığ 8th Corps Command, Artillery Lieutenant Colonel Ahmet Evren Kızılarılı was appointed as the Acting Garrison Commander.
On the occasion of the change of command, Artillery Colonel Erdem Yeni paid a farewell visit to Bayburt Governor Mustafa Eldivan. Artillery Lieutenant Colonel Ahmet Evren Kızılarılı, who was appointed as the Acting Garrison Commander, also visited Governor Eldivan and commenced his new duty.
