The flames in Bingöl caused damage to approximately 100 decares of agricultural land.
Flames broke out in the land between Büyüktekören and Garip villages.
Due to the strong wind, the flames spread to the surrounding cultivated lands.
Upon notice, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the village.
Firefighters from Bingöl and Genç municipalities and Genç Forest Management Chief responded to the fire with 4 water tankers.
The flames were extinguished with the intervention of the teams.
It was learned that approximately 100 decares of the 130 decare area affected by the fire were wheat cultivated areas and had not been harvested yet.
4 firefighters who intervened in the fire were affected by the smoke and were taken to Bingöl State Hospital.
