A total of 3,292 tourists entered the Bodrum district of Muğla with two cruise ships, Aroya and National Geographic Orion.
The Maltese-flagged, 335-meter-long Aroya arrived from Marmaris Port in the morning and docked at Bodrum Cruise Port. While it was learned that there were mainly Russian passengers on the ship, it was reported that there were 3 thousand 207 passengers and 1119 personnel. It was stated that the ship will depart for Kaş Port at 22:00.
The Bahamian-flagged, 102-meter-long National Geographic Orion arrived in Bodrum from Kuşadası Port. It was learned that there were mainly American passengers on the ship, with 85 passengers and 70 personnel traveling. It was reported that the cruise ship will depart for Leros Port, Greece, at 23.59 at night.
While some of the tourists who got off the ships visited the Bodrum bazaar, marinas and historical points, some passengers preferred the beaches and tourist establishments in the district. Cruise ship mobility is expected to contribute to district tourism. - MUĞLA
