The fire, which started in a grassy area in Bodrum district of Muğla and spread to the forest, was extinguished by the intervention of the teams from the air and land.
Flames broke out in the grassy area in Yalıçiftlik District for an unknown reason. The flames quickly spread due to the wind and spread to the nearby forest area.
Upon the notice of the surrounding people, many sprinklers, work machines, fire trucks and flame extinguishing helicopters affiliated with the Regional Directorate of Forestry and the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department were dispatched to the region.
The flames were taken under control by the teams from the air and on the ground and were extinguished.
