While the search and rescue activities for the missing Iraqi father and one of his children from the same family on a jet ski that capsized due to adverse weather conditions in Muğla's Bodrum district, the lifeless body of the other child was found off the coast of Kos (Kos) Island.

According to the information obtained, the jet ski with 2 adults and 2 children on it capsized off the coast of Akyarlar at 05.41 yesterday due to strong waves and adverse weather conditions. Upon the notice of the sailors in the area, search and rescue teams affiliated with the Coast Guard Command were dispatched to the region. The Iraqi mother, who was on the jet ski, was pulled out of the sea alive by the crew of a motor yacht that was sailing nearby at the time of the incident. The missing father and his two daughters could not be reached. While a large-scale search and rescue operation was launched by the teams from sea and air, people on a ferry sailing off the coast of Kos Island in Greece noticed a child standing motionless on the water surface. It was determined that the girl, who was taken out of the water by the Greek Coast Guard teams who went to the region upon the notice of the people on the ferry traveling between Kos and Bodrum, died. It is thought that the child whose lifeless body was found is the daughter of the family on the jet ski that capsized.
