At the traditional Erenler Mevlidi held in Bolu's Tetemeçele village, a prayer was made for rain to protect from drought and to fertilize the soil.
A traditional Erenler Mevlidi and rain prayer program was organized in the area where Hamid Danişmend Tomb is located in Tetemeçele village of the center. In addition to the village people, many people from surrounding villages participated in the program. Citizens gathered under trees and in shady areas due to the temperature and listened to the recitation of the Holy Quran and Mawlid-i Sharif. Addressing the citizens before the noon prayer, Bolu Provincial Mufti Hüseyin Demirtaş gave a sermon on the importance of gratitude, prayer, social solidarity, unity and solidarity.
Stating that Mawlid and plateau meetings in Bolu are an important cultural and spiritual heritage, Demirtaş said, "With the arrival of summer, our people of Bolu come together in our villages, plateaus and places of spiritual value. In these programs, we remember God, give thanks for the blessings we have, pray for our country, our nation, fruitful rains and the peace of humanity. These meetings build bridges between the past and the future, strengthen our feelings of unity, brotherhood and solidarity."
After the sermon, citizens performed the noon prayer together. After the prayer, prayers were made for protection from drought, fertility of the land and rain. In the program, prayers were also recited for the peace of Türkiye, the strengthening of unity and solidarity, the souls of those who lost their lives and the well-being of the Islamic world. The event ended after rice was served to citizens from Tetemeçele and surrounding villages. - BOLU
