A full program was prepared for young people within the scope of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration events in Burhaniye district of Balıkesir. In the program, which will include many activities from sports tournaments to artistic events, young people will both experience the spirit of commemoration and showcase their talents.
The events to be organized within the Burhaniye Youth and Sports Directorate and the Youth Center are preparing to bring together young people in the district. Within the scope of the commemoration program, mini volleyball, gymnastics and table tennis tournaments as well as cultural events will be included. In addition to sports activities, events reflecting the spirit of national unity will take place at Burhaniye Youth Center. A documentary screening, a poetry reading competition with emotional moments, a martyrdom visit and a Quran recitation competition will be held at the center with the participation of young people. Following the day-long events and tournaments, a well-attended ceremony will be held on the evening of July 15. All students who will come together at the ceremony will receive their awards in recognition of their performances and achievements. In his speech, District Sports Director Aslan Alparslan touched upon the importance of transferring the spirit of July 15 to young generations. Alparslan said, "We are working to raise a youth who protect their homeland, flag and democracy. With these events we organize, we aim to support the physical, national and spiritual development of our young people. I congratulate all our students who participated in the tournaments and commemoration programs and wish them success." - BALIKESİR
