"15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Center" was established by the Presidential Directorate of Communications in Bursa, Eskişehir, Çanakkale, Balıkesir and Kütahya.

"15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Center" was established at the UNESCO Square on Atatürk Street in Bursa, with the theme "Our Will, Our Victory" determined by the Directorate of Communications within the scope of the 2026 July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day commemoration activities.

The Center, which was implemented under the coordination of the Presidential Directorate of Communications Bursa Regional Directorate and with the contribution of Bursa Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality and relevant institutions, was opened to visitors with a ceremony held with the participation of Governor Erol Ayyıldız, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Şahin Biba and the provincial protocol.

The Center, where visitors are told chronologically about the resistance shown on the night of July 15, 2016, has 6 main sections: "Welcoming Arch", "Memory Area", "Martyrs and Heroes Gallery", "Victory Area", "National Will Message Area and Memory Book" and "Memory and Photo Point".

While the "Welcoming Arch" at the entrance of the center welcomes visitors with the slogan "Our Will, Our Victory", the events of the night of July 15 are explained in chronological order in the "Memory Area" with photographs, visuals and interactive content.

While the photographs and life stories of 253 people who were martyred in the coup attempt are included in the "Martyrs and Heroes Gallery", images of Türkiye's local and national projects and its activities in the field of defense industry and technology are exhibited in the "Victory Field".

The center also includes the "National Will Message Area and Memory Book" where visitors can share their feelings and thoughts, and the "Memorial and Photo Point" where they can take photos.

In the "Multi-Dimensional Digital Experience Area", one of the prominent sections of the Commemoration Center, the atmosphere of the night of July 15 is conveyed to the visitors in a multi-dimensional narrative, with content prepared with a digital display system on the LED screen.

The Center, which was established in Eskişehir Vilayet Square on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, was opened to the visit of citizens.

The center, which was prepared under the coordination of the Governorship, included a photo exhibition about the coup attempt on July 15, 2016, video screenings containing images of that night, virtual reality (VR) glasses experience and a memoir in which visitors wrote their feelings and thoughts.

Citizens who visited the center experienced emotional moments while examining the photographs and images on display.

59-year-old Gülsüm Başer, one of the visitors, told the AA correspondent that July 15 was a night that should not be forgotten and said, "May God never let anyone experience such pain again. May our state and our nation reach good days. The photos here reminded us of those days." he said.

Ahmet Eren, who visited the center, said that he learned about the coup attempt through his son's phone.

Stating that he followed the events after turning on the television, Eren said that he left the house and went to the square after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan invited the citizens to the squares.

Stating that he stayed in the area until the morning prayer, Eren said, "When we see the photos and remember those moments, our hearts beat fast again. May God never let us experience those days again. We have survived a great disaster. I wish God's mercy to all our martyrs who lost their lives that night. When we saw these photos today, what happened that night flashed before our eyes." he said.

In Çanakkale, under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications, a "Commemoration Center" was established in the tent in İskele Democracy Square.

At the entrance area of ​​the center, which offers a special commemoration experience to visitors, visitors are greeted by visuals depicting the theme of the 10th year, "Our Will, Our Victory" and its sub-phrases.

In the memory area, July 15, 2016 is conveyed to visitors with images prepared chronologically. In this part, the 3-layered will power is reflected: the will of the nation, the will of the President and the will of the state.

In the victory area, the idea that July 15 is not just a resistance but a common victory for democracy is conveyed to visitors.

Visitors write their feelings and thoughts about July 15 in the memory book and digital message area at the exit.

In Balıkesir, Prof. Dr. A "Commemoration Center" was established in a tent in Necmettin Erbakan Square.

Visitors examined the visuals containing the theme of the 10th year, "Our Will, Our Victory" and its sub-discourses.

Visitors reviewed the images prepared chronologically and wrote their feelings and thoughts about July 15 in the memory book and digital message area at the exit.

Recep Özalp, one of the football coaches of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, who came to visit the tent with his students, said that he was sorry that many people were martyred on July 15.

Özalp stated that they visited the martyrs' cemetery with the athletes and said, "We are trying to remind our athletes of these moments. May God not let us face such things again. We have not forgotten this day, we will not forget it." he said.

Hayriye Yuken, one of the visitors, expressed that she was very sorry for the martyrs killed on July 15.

Stating that the enemies were not successful on July 15, Yuken said, "May God not give our enemies another opportunity. May our Turkey stand tall. Thank you to our Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Thank you to our country, may God have mercy on our martyrs and give patience to their families." he said.

A "Commemoration Center" was established in Zafer Square in front of the Governorship in Kütahya.

Mehmet Akın Çelik, who visited the center, said that there was a second night of liberation after the War of Independence on July 15.

Stating that it was shouted to the whole world that night that Türkiye was an indivisible whole, Çelik said, "May God never let that day happen again. This center was a great activity to ensure that July 15 is not forgotten and not forgotten. May God bless those who contributed." he said.

Hayati Kaplan, who came to his hometown Kütahya from Germany, stated that the center is a meaningful activity to ensure that July 15 is not forgotten.
