According to Automotive Industry Association (OSD) data, a total of 673 thousand 611 vehicles were produced in Türkiye in the January-June period of 2026. Bursa-based factories realized 238 thousand 850 units of this production and received a share of 35.5 percent. An average of 1,319 vehicles were produced in the city every day.
OYAK Renault and TOFAŞ were the biggest manufacturers in Bursa with 161 thousand 42 units and 77 thousand 449 units. While 136 thousand 65 vehicles were exported from Bursa, this figure corresponded to 29 percent of Türkiye's total exports. Experts emphasize that Bursa's production power is of critical importance for the Turkish economy.
