When there was no news from one of the two climbers who climbed the Bala Süpha Dürek Peak in Hakkari's Heaven and Hell Valley, a search and rescue operation was launched.
According to the information obtained, two mountaineers who came to Hakkari from Bursa climbed the Bala Süpha Dürek Peak in the Heaven and Hell Valley in the Cilo-Sat Mountains. While one of the climbers returned safely after the climb, there was no news of the other. After the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, gendarmerie and AFAD teams were dispatched to the region. The teams launched a large-scale search and rescue operation in difficult terrain conditions to reach the climber who was considered missing.
AFAD officials stated that one of the two climbers from Bursa returned safely, while the other climber could not be reached yet, and that the search activities continued uninterruptedly. - HAKKARI
