(ANKARA) - US Central Command announced that the naval blockade has been restarted against ships going to or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas.
In the statement made by CENTCOM, it was stated that US forces began to re-impose the naval blockade on ship passages connected to Iranian ports and coastal areas today at 16:00 US Eastern Time.
In the statement, it was reported that more than 20 US navy warships and hundreds of military aircraft were on duty throughout the Middle East.
CENTCOM noted that American forces are on alert and ready for duty.
