Harsh response to the dismissal decision from three CHP presidents - Last Minute News

(ESKİŞEHİR) - Talat Yalaz, who was removed from CHP Eskişehir Provincial Presidency, Rahmi Çınar, who was appointed from CHP Odunpazarı District Presidency, and Tevfik Yıldırım, who was appointed from CHP Tepebaşı District Presidency, stated that they "did not recognize the dismissal decisions".

Yalaz, Çınar and Yıldırım held a press conference at CHP Eskişehir Provincial Directorate.

Yalaz stated that they were informed of the dismissal decision via e-mail and claimed that the decision was not legitimate. Yalaz said that they wanted to liquidate the cadres who left the AK Party behind in the elections in Eskişehir and said, "This decision is null and void for us. Our Tepebaşı District Chairman is Tevfik Yıldırım and our Odunpazarı District Chairman is Rahmi Çınar. The elected administrations are on duty."

Arguing that the dismissals aimed to prevent CHP's march to power, Yalaz said, "They are trying to tear us away from our party, but we will continue our struggle. Do not be a crutch for Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, turn away from this mistake."

Rahmi Çınar, on the other hand, stated that his party had not lost an election in Eskişehir during his time as the district chairman since 2017, and said that they knew in advance that they would be dismissed.

Çınar said, "We stood by our Chairman Özgür Özel, and we will continue to do so. We are not disturbed by this decision, on the contrary, we are honored."

Tevfik Yıldırım also stated that they did not recognize the dismissal decision and that they were trying to liquidate the staff that made CHP the first party in Türkiye.

Stating that the dismissal of elected officials ignores the will of the organization, Yıldırım said, "Our Chairman is Özgür Özel. Our Provincial Chairman is Talat Yalaz. We will continue our struggle with the same determination."

Answering the questions of members of the press, Yalaz said that there were resignations from the CHP in Eskişehir, but they could not give an exact number because their access to the party system was blocked. Stating that they called on party members "Do not resign from CHP", Yalaz said, "No one should be hopeless. We will continue to be on the field with our organization tomorrow. We will not leave the hopes of millions unattended."
