(YOZGAT) - In the CHP Yozgat organization, after Abdullah Yaşar was dismissed from his post as Provincial Chairman, the Central District and Women's Branch Provincial Chairman was also dismissed, and Sarıkaya District Chairman announced that he resigned from his post.
The letter on the subject reached Abdullah Yaşar and his management, whose removal from CHP Yozgat Provincial Directorate was announced last weekend, last evening. Yaşar said, "We do not recognize that decision because the Butlan administration itself is not legitimate. We have never dealt with the people appointed by the palace's judiciary, and we will not. For me, it has no value. For me, the founder of my party, my leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, my leader Özgür Özel."
After the CHP Yozgat Provincial organization, Central District Chairman Mehmet Güven and Women's Branch Provincial Chairman Sevkan Gürkan were also dismissed with a letter sent at night. Central District Mayor Güven announced that he was dismissed from his social media account as follows:
"Today, I do not accept the dismissal decision notified to me, I reject this understanding that ignores the will of our organization. Just as we opposed the dismissal of our previously elected Provincial President, Mr. Abdullah Yaşar, and then our elected Women's Branch Provincial President, Mr. Sevkan Gürkan, today I do not see this decision, taken with the same understanding as the Central District President, as legitimate. The main strength of the CHP is the will of the organization. Our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel's commitment to the will of democracy, change and organization. I believe in importance and maintain my belief that our party will continue its path by adhering to these values. We have undertaken the duties not for the sake of office, but to serve our party, our organization and our people. No one is above the will of the organization. We do not accept the concept of appointments instead of the elected ones. From now on, we will continue to support the values of our CHP. "I will continue to defend the will for change and the honor of our organization."
Dismissed CHP Yozgat Provincial Women's Branch President Sevkan Gürkan stated that "they do not recognize the decision of the appointees and trustees" and said, "This decision they have taken for us is null and void. Our path is Atatürk's principles and reforms. Our place is with our esteemed Chairman Özgür Özel and we will continue to walk the path with our belief in democracy, law and justice."
CHP Sarıkaya District Chairman Mustafa Yalçın also announced that he resigned from his post. Yalçın made a statement on his social media account: "As of today, I am leaving my duty as the District Chairman, which I carry out with great pride, due to the need I see. This is not something we have given up on. Positions and titles are temporary, what remains is our love for these lands and our sincere struggle. As a soldier of this party, I will continue to operate anytime, anywhere for the bright future of Sarıkaya and our country."
Kazım Eliaçık, who was stated to be appointed as CHP Yozgat Provincial Chairman, has not yet gone to the party building. Speaking to the ANKA News Agency reporter on the phone, Eliaçık said that he had not received an official notification yet. Eliaçık said, "It would not be right for me to go to the party because I have not received an official notification. When the official notification comes, we will go to the party with our friends and officially start our duty. The door of the party is locked, the friends left the key somewhere. As soon as the official notification letter arrives, we will take the key, open the door and start our duty."
