Çorum IHH Search and Rescue team drew attention to July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day by unfurling the Turkish flag in Green Lake.
An event was held in Çorum's Laçin district on the 10th anniversary of FETO's treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016.
Divers of the IHH Search and Rescue team unfurled the Turkish flag in Green Lake, where they dived as part of the event.
Team leader Mehmet Ünver told the AA correspondent that they held an event with the Turkish flag to show that they did not forget July 15 and that it should not be forgotten.
Stating that Türkiye experienced a major incident on July 15, 2016, Ünver said, "We unfurled the Turkish flag to show that we stand with our martyrs because we think such events should not happen again." he said.
