It was determined that the 71-year-old man, who was reported missing in Çorum's Mecitözü district, died by falling off the cliff.
In Sırçalı village, relatives reported Kemal Yılmaz missing, whom they had not heard from for a while.
Upon notice, Disaster and Emergency Directorate (AFAD) and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the village.
During a drone survey conducted by AFAD teams, Yılmaz's body was found under a rock.
The body of Yılmaz, who was thought to have lost his life by falling from a height, was taken to the morgue of Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital.
