The Commemoration Tent was opened in DENİZLİ as part of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day events. In the tent, the spirit of July 15 was brought to the visitors in all its aspects with photo exhibitions describing the historical course of the night of July 15, photographs of 253 martyrs, video screenings, informative content, a memoir and different experience areas.
In the program organized by Denizli Governorship at Delikliçınar Martyrs Square on July 15, first of all, a moment of silence was observed for the martyrs, and after the National Anthem was sung, the Holy Quran was read. Speaking after the video screening, Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger stated that the resistance of the nation against FETO's coup attempt on July 15, 2016 was not forgotten and said, "The treacherous coup attempt against the survival of the state, democracy, national will and constitutional order was eliminated thanks to the unity and solidarity of the nation. The Turkish nation continues to protect its independence and future today, as it did that night. July 15, 2016." "It is a turning point in Türkiye's recent history. The nation resisted against tanks and weapons with faith, courage and love of the country, and the coup attempt was failed thanks to the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans." he said.
