A male body was found in the Tigris River in Sur district of DIYARBAKIR.
The incident took place at noon in Bağıvar location. Police, health and Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Underwater search and rescue teams were dispatched to the region upon the notice of those who saw the person standing motionless on the surface of the Tigris River. It was determined that the body removed from the water by the team's activities belonged to a man. After the initial examination, the body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death and identity. While missing reports are being investigated, the investigation into the incident continues.
