The flames, which were said to have originated from a power pole in Bilecik, turned a 3-decare area into ashes.
The fire occurred in Selbükü village, Bilecik. According to the information obtained, it was evaluated that the cover fire, which was effective in an area of approximately 3 decares, was caused by a power pole, and many teams were dispatched to the area upon notice. The fire was intervened by 8 personnel from 2 public order teams of the gendarmerie, as well as 2 flame extinguishing helicopters, 2 first response vehicles, 2 water tankers and 3 water tankers. As a result of coordinated activities from air and land, the flames were taken under control and extinguished.
In order to determine the exact cause of the fire, the Forest Management Directorate launched an investigation. - BİLECİK
