Erciyes University (ERÜ) Faculty of Engineering has graduated its students for the 2025-2026 academic year. A total of 702 students graduated as part of the program.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Erciyes Cultural Center, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alper Öner, academics, graduating students, and their families. Speaking at the ceremony after a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun emphasized that the university has always been a productive institution. Congratulating the families of the graduating students in his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Altun said; "No matter how proud you are of your children at today's graduation ceremony, it is not enough. However, we know that your efforts are much greater. Your efforts are never to be underestimated. I thank you very much. Well done for your hard work." Addressing the graduating students in his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Altun noted; "Dear graduates, do not forget this. Life passes very quickly. Time passes very quickly. Rest assured that the year you graduate will also quickly be behind you. It is extremely important that you always have a sense of belonging to your university and to Kayseri."

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Ahmet Alper Öner also stated in his speech that the ERÜ Faculty of Engineering is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Offering advice to the students in his speech, Dean Prof. Dr. Öner said, "Dear graduates, do not let the difficulties you encounter on your journey ahead discourage you. On the contrary, see every obstacle as a new learning opportunity. Never give up on being individuals who are curious, research, question, and continuously develop themselves. Because true success is a journey where learning never ends." Following the speeches, Zeynep İbrahim, the top student of the 2025-2026 academic year, affixed a plaque to the graduation log.

The ceremony, where the graduating students took their engineering oath, concluded after the presentation of their diplomas. - KAYSERİ
