Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ahmet Tanoğlu, in his message on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, stated that the Turkish nation wrote a historical epic on the night of July 15 by protecting democracy, the state and the national will.
In his message, Tanoğlu stated that July 15 was not only the night when a coup attempt was prevented, but also a historical turning point when the nation acted in unity and solidarity and claimed its will.
Emphasizing that the nation defended its homeland, state and democracy at the expense of its life that night, Tanoğlu noted that millions of citizens, men, women, young and old, took to the streets and showed the whole world that Türkiye was not abandoned.
Stating that unity and solidarity are the greatest power, Tanoğlu said:
"Our nation, regardless of origin and opinion, has thwarted all the plans of traitors by standing shoulder to shoulder. As long as we maintain our unity and solidarity, no power will be able to destroy the brotherhood of this country. Our unity is the biggest obstacle to those who covet this country."
At the end of his message, Tanoğlu stated that he commemorated the July 15 martyrs with mercy and gratitude to the veterans, and drew attention to the importance of keeping the spirit of national unity and solidarity alive for the future of Türkiye. - ERZİNCAN
