15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Painting and Photography exhibition was opened in Erzurum.
The exhibition, which was opened with the theme "Our Will, Our Victory" at the Historical Double Minaret Madrasa, included photographs of the July 15 martyrs and veterans and 200 works designed by their relatives.
After the ribbon cutting, Governor Aydın Baruş visited the exhibition and chatted with the families of martyrs and veterans.
Family and Social Services Provincial Director Hasan Aykut told the AA correspondent that the works are also valuable because of the designers.
Explaining the importance of the exhibition, Aykut said:
"We are happy and proud to exhibit 200 works made by the relatives of the martyrs, within the scope of the Art to Life and Art Encouragement Project, at Çifte Minareli Madrasa. We are always with the sacred relics of our martyrs and will support them. Our veterans are also our crowning glory, we are together in all kinds of activities in terms of their development, happiness, support and cooperation, we are always with them and will continue to be."
The exhibition will host visitors until July 16.
