In the statement, it was emphasized that the allegations did not reflect the truth, and it was stated that the New York Times newspaper was known for "making lies and fake news" and that the same allegations had been made before.
It was stated that Ahmadinejad was "busy with daily affairs and at the service of the Iranian people."
The US-based New York Times newspaper wrote that Israel tried to appoint Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with whom it contacted within the framework of a secret operation, as the new leader of the country, but this attempt failed.
