Eskişehir Governor Dr. Erdinç Yılmaz visited the July 15 veterans and their families in the city within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Governor Dr. Erdinç Yılmaz; Combat Air Force and Garrison Commander Air General Rafet Dalkıran held a meaningful visit program with Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Erhan Demir, Provincial Police Chief Tolga Yılmaz and Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Orhan Bayrak. Protocol members visited Özcan Çetinkaya, a veteran who was injured in Istanbul and Marmaris during the treacherous coup attempt, Nusret Bayar and police officers Burak Güzel and Uğur Göküz at their homes and chatted for a while. Governor Yılmaz also presented plaques to the veterans in memory of the visits.

Eskişehir Governor Dr. invited all citizens to the commemoration events to be held in Governorship Square. Erdinç Yılmaz said, "We have entered the 10th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15. That night, our beloved nation defended its democracy, state and homeland in unity and solidarity. The epic of July 15 was written thanks to the sacrifice of our 251 martyrs and the heroism of our veterans. We are proud of you. We commemorate all our martyrs with mercy and gratitude and express our gratitude to our veterans."
Veterans and their families stated that they were very happy to be remembered on meaningful days and thanked Governor Yılmaz and the protocol members. - ESKİŞEHİR
