The fire occurred at around 23.30 on the roof of the 4-storey building located on Divan Yolu Street in Fatih Çemberlitaş District. For an unknown reason, flames rose from the base station on the roof. The growing flames created dense smoke in the region. Following the notice of the surrounding citizens, many fire brigade, ambulance and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the short-term intervention of the teams, the fire was extinguished by cooling activity. While there were no deaths or injuries in the fire, the building was evacuated as a precaution.
