3rd Class Police Chief Ufuk Baysan, who was martyred in the attack on the Special Operations Department in Gölbaşı during the coup attempt of FETO on July 15, 2016, was commemorated at his grave in Düzce.
In the program held at Düzce Martyrs' Cemetery within the scope of "15 July Democracy and National Unity Day" activities, prayers were made after the recitation of the Holy Quran, and carnations were left on the graves of the martyrs.
The program was attended by the martyr's father Ramazan Baysan, Düzce Governor Mehmet Makas, Deputy Mayors Okan Kaltu and Hasan Günden, Garrison Commander Supply Colonel Abdulvahap Bozkurt, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Mustafa Tetik, Provincial Police Chief İbrahim Ergüder, AK Party Provincial Chairman Hasan Şengüloğlu, MHP Provincial Chairman İlhami Caboğlu, War Disabled Veterans Martyrs Widows and Orphans Association Düzce Branch. President Abdullah Markuş, protocol members, institution managers and citizens attended.
Later, martyr Baysan was commemorated at his grave in Beyköy town.
After the prayer recited here, protocol members also visited the house of the martyr's family.
