24 people died and 36 people were injured when a passenger bus fell into a river in Ivory Coast.
According to the statement made by the Ivory Coast Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, the passenger bus traveling from Odienne to Yamoussoukro fell into the Bafing River on the Touba-Biankouma road. 24 people died and 36 people were injured on the bus with 69 passengers and crew members. Rescue teams were deployed to search for missing persons. While the cause of the accident is not yet known, all drivers are called to be careful and obey traffic rules, especially during the current rainy season. - ABIDJAN
