The boat belonging to the Coast Guard Command in Giresun crashed into the rocks on the Teyyaredüzü neighborhood beach last night, injuring 6 people, including 3 civilians, and the boat traffic incident was removed from the scene. According to the information obtained, the boat belonging to the Giresun Coast Guard 73 Command, affiliated with the Coast Guard Eastern Black Sea Group Command, crashed into the breakwater rocks on the Teyyaredüzü District coast last night for an undetermined reason. It was learned that 3 specialist sergeants and 3 civilians were slightly injured in the accident. After the first aid at the scene, the injured were taken to hospitals by ambulance and treated.
The Coast Guard boat, which was damaged in the accident, was removed from its location and loaded onto the truck with the help of work machines lowered to the seashore in the morning. While a technical investigation has been initiated on the boat and the cause of the accident is expected to be clarified as a result of the investigation, the investigation continues into whether the injured 3 civilians were on the beach or on the boat during the traffic incident. - GİRESUN
